I love this Bible verse, lol. It applies to soooo many situations. When people find out that I’ve been “a Lifestyle Blogger since The 90s” natural follow-up questions to ask are, “Why don’t I know you?!” “Why aren’t you more Internet Famous?!” “Why don’t you have more Followers, Likes, Subscribers, Views?!” etc. etc. My Answer is simple, “Because I don’t want to. Blah ha ha!!!” I know exactly how to “go viral” (I hate that phrase btw, it sounds so gross, like a sickness, but that’s another sermon for another day, hahaha).
Just like irl (in real life) Money (or any perceived form thereof, lol) can buy you anything… Especially Fake Fans, Friends, Family, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Husband, Wife, Followers, Church Congregation Members, Comments, Likes, whatever, lol. I don’t have time for nonsense. I need to know who the real ones are. Anybody can tag along and shout a loud fake “rah rah” when you’re lining their pockets with petty cash (ironic term, lol) and feeding their empty stomach. (see Proverbs 19:4, 6-7) Be smart. Ditch the dead weight early on in Your Life Journey. (see Luke 9:1-6)
Just like this Bible verse warns, rushing around doing anything and everything to get Attention = Trouble. Especially on the Internet (duh!) where you cannot control who is lurking about. Monitoring Spirits are scrolling at all times of Day and Night. Sneaking around (so they think, blah ha ha), discussing, gossiping, plotting, copy catting, ripping you off, etc. etc. (see 1 Peter 5:6-11) All for the next Sunday Service / Wednesday Service hit of what they perceive to be easy attention and monetization. In such a rush… To end up in a Donation Pile…
Respect yourself. Respect God. Take your Time. IT’s your Life. Do IT right. (see 1 Timothy 6:3-21)
