🌟 Hi! One of my favorite Song Hooks is, "You Can Feel Bad If It Makes You Feel Better". It comes from a Song entitled, "You Can Feel Bad". It was Written by Matraca Berg and the late Tim Krekel (1950-2009). This version is Performed by Patty Loveless from her The Trouble With the Truth album (1996).
I first heard the Song as a Child on Country Radio & it became a Fav. The Words can mean different things for different people. Throughout My Life, it's been a great Jam for a variety of Relationship Heartbreaks -- Family, Friends, Crushes, and Mentors.
I like to Sing the Hook to Myself. "Sweet Ruthie... Cry. Feel Bad. But baby girl, Get Better." Because like another line in the Song says, "Yeah take another look at these tears I'm crying / They're not fallin' on your shoulders they're fallin' on mine". At The End of The Day, People Hurt You, yet they Move On. Soooo, You've gotta Pick Up & Do the same.
